On 22-26 September the annual EUMETSAT-Meteorological Satellites Conference will take place in Geneva. The Conference is organized by
EUMETSAT(European Meteorological Satellite) together with the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss, the Federal Department of Foreign
Affairs, the canton and the town of Geneva.
This year the event will focus on the use of satellite data for prediction and study of atmospheric processes; also other topics will address
such as climate monitoring, marine meteorology and oceanography, the campaigns of calibration and validation of instruments, the atmospheric composition
and assimilation of satellite data in global and regional models.
In this contest IOSMOS project will be presented; in particular its potentiality and opportunity that derive from the implementation of its methodology at local scale will be highlighting.
