"Coastal Monitoring of Mediterranean sea: problems and measurement techniques"
The Fifth International Symposium "Coastal Monitoring of Mediterranean sea: problems and measurement techniques" will be held in Livorno on
17-18-19 June 2014 and will be based on the discussion of issues related to the Mediterranean coastal areas problems.
The event will include the following sessions:
- environmental measurement and energy production in coastal zone;
- coasts and fishing grounds morphology and evolution;
- flora and fauna of the coast system: dynamics and protection;
- coastal landscape: yesterday and today anthropization;
- coastal area geography: uses, processes and dynamics of land;
- integrated coastal management and protection: economic and legal profile.
During the "Measures for the environment and energy production in the coastal zone" session, the poster "CASI-1500 hyperspectral remote sensing data and in situ measurements IOSMOS Within the project activities for coastal water bio-optical properties assessment" poster will be presented.
