IOnian Sea water quality MOnitoring by Satellite data

On October 22 2014, in the seminar room of the National Research Council in Tito Scalo, very crowed for the occasion, took place the final meeting of the IOSMOS project. During the event, the dr. Lacava, principal investigator of IOSMOS, provided a general overview of the activities carried out during the project and the key results achieved, while Prof. Tramutoli and dr. Pignatti provided detailed information about the activities carried out during the tasks 1 and 2, respectively.
At the end of their talks, a panel discussion started, moderated by dr. Biagio Perretti (Senior expert - Managing Authority of OP ERDF Basilicata Region), where, among the others, were present the professors Filippos Vallianatos and John Makris as representative of the TEIC and CTRC, respectively, and some of the government/local authorities representatives of the areas affected by the project.
During the event, when the final results achieved by the PRO-Land project were also presented, dr. Antonio Bernardo (Responsible of Managing Authority OP EFRD Basilicata), and prof. Aldo Berlinguer, Assessor of Region of Basilicata - Department of Environment, Land, Infrastructure, Public Works and Transport, provided their contribution to the discussion.
